Corgis ~ Older Dogs For Sale
NEWS about older dogs! Read Below!

We here at the Haven are so sure a new family will fall in love with one our older animals that the routine to care for such an animal
( regular admistration of medication for things like fleas, worms, heart worms, and other general pet-related conditions ) will come
as a no real chore in addition to the animal itself. (Besides there are cost-effective solutions to help potential buyers, so don't worry!)

Because we have such great dogs, as well as the puppies we breed, we are willing to let qualified buyers pay for shipping of $400*(See below
for details, and pricing reasons) for one of our older animals to join your family. You will be allowed to keep the dog for two
months, free of charge. If you should decide that you would like to keep the dog, then the final price of $250 dollars should be paid.
(If for any reason you decide to not keep the animal in question, it is the buyers explicit responsibility to pay for return shipping,
or find another home for the animal.)

The reason we are starting this program for qualified buyers and homes is that because of the new litters of puppies, we feel that some of
the older dogs are not receiving the same ammount of attention as we would like them to have. The animals are cared for very well, but we
feel they could be loved and more greatly appreciated by a good home looking for a wonderful dog.

Some of these dogs that we are offering in this program have been with us for a while, and offer emotional connection for us as they are
wonderful animals, so please bear with us as we may ask a few questions about your family and lifestyle.

These are all great dogs, that will make wonderful family pets, playmates, and companions, so please take a look, and if interested contact us immediately.

*The reason for this price of shipping is because an airline ticket to ship the animal is currently in the neighborhood of $250 dollars.
After the ticket alone, you must add in the price for cage weight, plus the cage itself which we must purchase to ship the dog in.
The dog must be vet checked and up to date on all shots before it is shipped, as well as it supplied with food and water to reach locations.
Beyond the price of shipping itself, it is a 2 hour drive to the nearest major airport that handles "cargo shipping," which is what animals
and pets are classified as.(We don't like this classification, but it is how the Airports refer to them.) They also receive an ID chip implant
(from a vet) with your information on it, not ours. We believe in always trying to be perpared for every possibility, just in case.

All non breeding, older dogs are now $250 for homes that qualify. You many view the older Corgi contract here.

Clooney  ~$650 (Sold)

Clooney was sold but has returned to us because his last family was going through a divorce. He is now in need of a new home. It is up to us to find one!

Clooney would make an excellent stud because of his small size and attractive coloration for any interested breeders. For families, because he is small in size, he would also be excellent as a child's pet. He has received his puppy shots and also has a health warranty. He is about to receive his second rabies shot.

Although we try not to play favorites, Clooney is certainly one of our choice picks. All he needs now is to find a loving home and the family he truly deserves. He is the only one of his litter and is still young, he will be two years old this December (2007).

Any serious offer will be considered. Occasionally installment payments can be arranged. Referrals and references will be required. He also has a health warranty that will be in affect for a few months.

Peanut Butter Cookie

Peanut Butter Cookie or "Peanut" is a red & white AKC registered Welsh Pembroke Corgi and was born January 13, 2001.  He is a good stud male. Peanut is extremely gentle and laid back.

He loves spending most of his time outdoors. The only time he like to come in is when the weather is cold or stormy. Even then he only wants in for a few hours and then right back outside.

Peanut loves puppies even when they are not his. One of his ears doesn't stand up because Baby  would pull him by the ear and that broke the cartilage in it. Baby did this to get him into trouble!

He loves to tell you good morning when you go out to close his pen so the o thers can come out.

Mrs Ellie Mae Paynter

Ellie is a sable AKC registered Welsh Pembroke Corgi.  Ellie is very much the princess and her highbrow attitude sometimes makes it difficult for her to get along with some of the other dogs. However, she doesn't mind spending time around her son, Runty Runt. Despite being prissy she very much loves getting attention from her owners.

Ellie suffered from allergies.  Her allergies were to airborne things like air fresheners which we still do not use around her but she is ok with a little here and there. We had to switch to unscented cleaner and laundry detergents which is just simple changes to make for a loved one.

She also had some food allergies and that is why we started feeding all the dogs Purina One. Ellie has not had any allergy attacks since. I really recommend Purina One for Corgis as it makes their color so rich and shiny.

Ellie likes to play fetch and she loves to give kisses. She has had two litters of puppies.

Baby

Baby had some health issues when she was younger but has had no problems for the last 5 yrs.  Please write for more information.

Baby is in two classes of color she is red and white as well as sable. The red and white is obvious but the sable isn't because she has black tipping on the red and white. She is everything anyone could want in a Corgi. She plays fetch and  tug of war and shakes hands. She knows she is the Queen around here.
