About Us:
We raise Welsh Pembroke Corgis.
We searched for roughly two years to find a rare breed; something that was so cute and attractive
that people would stop and ask about them and then tell us how beautiful they were! Our search was greatly rewarded. With our first Corgi
we just fell completely in love with this breed and with our first litter we were hooked for life. Now we invite you to find a
companion who will bring you the same joy from our very own breeding stock. We have been breeding these adorable Corgis since the year
2000 and take pride in our puppies and lovable older dogs.
About Corgis:
It is important to research all you can about any dog breed before deciding to take one in. It is a commitment that will affect
both yours and the dog's life. One thing you must know for example is that Corgis are high energy dogs, so they need lots of room to run!
Corgis can be kept in a normal size yard, but prefer a large area because of this. If you try to break the energy out of them, you break
the sprit of the animal itself. This is just one of the reasons here at the haven we don't sell to just anyone and have a questionnaire which you
can find on the navigation bar or here. Anyone who is interested in purchasing a Corgi
must therefore fill out the questionnaire.
Our Dogs:
All Corgis here are AKC registered unless stated in their descriptions.
Our puppies start at $500 and go up from there.
We are healthy puppy breeders first, Corgi rescuers second. Older animals make great companions as well, however our contract
for them is different than for a new puppy. The reason for this is, we do not want
to see them end up in a shelter, neglected or not loved and cared for, so please remember this when reading the older animal
purchase contract. If you love them and care for them then you have nothing to worry about with us.
My main reason for becoming a breeder was to help save people some of the heart break we went through and to breed
healthy, quality puppies. Physical attributes such as size, color, whether an animal's ear stands up, or lays down are irrelevant to us. Our priority
is the animal's health and care, and providing a dog that will not cost a new owner tons of money in vet bills among other things.
The AKC allows in line breeding, which we will not do.
It is our belief here at the haven this is where most Pure-breed health issues START.
PLEASE keep in mind most all pure-breed animals have their own health traits just as if you get a mixed breed they can
have health trait for all the breeds they are mixed with.
If there is anything you would like to talk about CORGI wise and don't seem to be finding answers anywhere else
I will be glad to talk with you.
Keep in mind I am NOT a vet.
With that being said I spend 24/7 365 with about 9 to 13 of these amazing animals.
If you should decide to try any advice I give you, you do it of you own free will.
Should your animal have complications for something you try, I can not be held responsible just as most vets are not.
I look forward to helping any way we can.
We are looking forward to helping you find the right corgi match that will work with your life style!
Thanks! From everyone here who works to make this all happen!
